CAT C16. 460 kW (600 HP) 24v starting system, 35 AMP alternator, safety shutoffs for low oil pressure and high water temperature.

CLUTCH
PT Tech HPTO 16 Wet Clutch
MILL
13 disc x 4 pin rotor running 24 fixed hammers with replaceable tips (rotating mass – 3.2 tonnes).
HYDRAULICS
Rexroth variable displacement pump set and 24v electric solenoids driving radial piston motors, tank capacity 250 litres.
OVERLOAD PROTECTION
Electrically monitoring blocked hydraulic filter, low hydraulic oil level, high hydraulic oil temperature and mill under speed conditions. Blocked Hydraulic filter switches
INSTRUMENTATION
Hourmeter, voltmeter, tachometer, and oil pressure and water temperature gauges.
CONTROL
Remote push button transmitter.
INFEED CONVEYOR
Steel slats 1570 wide, speed adjustable.
OUTFEED CONVEYOR
2 rubber belts 1500 wide, cleated inclined belt, discharge height 4.3 metres. Belt speed – 150 metres/minute.
